Even if I got no reponse from anyone, I made the patch and I updated my 
ASUS M3N Debian GNU/Linux report (available at 
http://luca.pca.it/projects/). I tried the patches I made and it seems 
they work, but I'll be glad if anyone could try them to be sure.

Yes, finally I got it working. There's just a little "bug", I mean, I 
can't see any keyboard input for 3-5 seconds when the fan turns on at 
maximum, for example when compiling the kernel. It means that all the 
keyboard inputs are correctly token, but I can't see them on a 
X-terminal window or similar. But this is just for 3-5 seconds, then the 
fan turns normal and my keyboard inputs are again instantanely accepted. 
It could be a GNOME 2.2 bug, but it's not a problem, because all the 
rest is ok :-)
