Hello Managers,

We moved from Red Hat Advanced Server "Linux Oldserver 2.2.14-5.0 #1 Tue Mar 7
21:07:39 EST 2000 i686 unknown"
to "Linux Newsverver 2.4.9-e.3smp #1 SMP Fri May 3 16:48:54 EDT 2002 i686
unknown".
The names and IPs are different. Apache server is new with the new OS.
I copied over all html pages and accounts. httpd.conf files are different.
If I use the httd.conf from old with new name and IP some of the modules won't
load.
I tried configuring new httpd.conf to match older one and am able to run httpd
just fine and I was able to
see test page before copying html and index files over to new server.
When I try to access the sevrer through mozilla locally as http://localhost it
maps to right new name but just hangs.
httpd was running before with -DHave_ACCESS module. I removed it and am running
now without any options.
I also get "The Page Can not be displayed " error when I try to access the web
server with IP address from another subnet.
I am able to ping, telnet and rlogin just fine to the new server. I am new to
Linux any help is appreciated.
I am missing something in configuration of http since I can't get the index page
when I try to access it locally as http://localhost
or may be my network configuration on the server is not right.
I am running it as StandAlone and I have ServerName <IP address:80> entry in the
file.

TIA
