Dear LMs, Thanks for all your replies The actual reason for the server crash is 1.SWAP memory problem, Since I did not have enough swap size (RAM is 998MB and SWAP is 1025MB). 2.There are some bad sectors in my /dev/hdc, when some data is read from the defected sectors, the server is overloaded and hung. I have added another 1000MB of swap, and its running fine until now.
