Hi Everyone,
I've got a little problem with the pg_dump command
I want to do a pg_dump on a database, but it always prompt u for a
password, there is no option to unset the prompt, I've even tried a
trick with bash, to feed the prompt a password to stdn out, but no luck
No help on any sites that I've come accross, only howto's on backups

Here is what it looks like:

bash-2.05a$ ./postgresdump.sh
User name:
Password:

I can specify a username but no password

Any advice will be appreciated

Cheers

Jandre
