spin-down scsi devices

I am looking for administrative tools to auto-spin down rarly used scsi-devices. The tool should perform at least one of the following requirements: - spin-down /spin-up as shell command - auto-spin-down after specified amount of time - auto spin-up device on access I am using suse 8.2.
