Windows Explorer + samba + rh7.3

Hi There,

I've got an interesting thing I saw with my clients samba server, Its 
not an issue, but would like to know what causes it!?
Retief copies a bunch of files and folders into his home directory on 
the server via drag-and-drop with windows explorer, then for every 
folder that copies across, a zero sized folder with almost the same name 
gets created

Any advice will be appreciated
