sendmail off of another box

I have a Red Hat 9 box running sendmail and I also have a box running
Slackware and sendmail.
I want the mail sent out from the red hat box to go thru the slackware box
then to the outside.
Both of the boxes have the same domain. The problem is when I send a mail
from the Red Hat box to user-9IKiO1iGCm/[email protected], I get a 550 saying that the user
does not exist. Also it says that the mail is from localhost.localdomain.

What is happening here is that the mail from the redhat box never sends it
to the slackware box. It tries to see if there is the user is local
(user-9IKiO1iGCm/[email protected]) and since there is no user with that name it fails - there
is a user on the slack ware box named [email protected]

Please help - I will gladly add more if needed.

TIA
