This way not be the place for the question, however
maybe some of the managers have ran into the issue and
found solutions.

Problem, wccp on cisco router not showing cache
engine.

System: Redhat 8.0

I have compiled ip_wccp as a module and have it
running, by using lsmod shows it running. I have the
tunnel and iptables redirecting.

Then I configured cisco router for wccp. When
checking if router sees cache-engine, no cache-engine
is apparent.

Here is the log:
Global WCCP information:
    Router information:
        Router Identifier:
66.250.xxx.xxx
        Protocol Version: 1.0

    Service Identifier: web-cache
        Number of Cache Engines: 0
        Number of routers: 1
        Total Packets Redirected: 0
        Redirect access-list: -none-
        Total Packets Denied Redirect: 0
        Total Packets Unassigned: 0
        Group access-list: -none-
Total Messages Denied to Group: 0
        Total Authentication failures: 0

If anyone has any experience with getting wccp and
linux to work, I could really use the help.

Thanks,
Kevin Morland
