Hi, I couldn't change user passwords on my NIS network. I'm runing redhat9.0 as NIS server. I try even to make the change in nis server itself with root account but no chance. yppasswd user1 Enter root password Please enter new password: Please retype new password: Error while changing the NIS password. The NIS password has not been changed What is also strange is that when asking me for root password, I type whatever I want , wrong password, and he continues asking me to enter the new nis user password. Is there any bug to fix on yppasswd on redhat9.0 Thanks, [demime 1.01d removed an attachment of type text/x-vcard which had a name of rachid.boukhari.vcf] _______________________________________________ LinuxManagers mailing list - http://www.linuxmanagers.org submissions: LinuxManagers-35TzE1X9F6582KRnZfj+bdi2O/[email protected] subscribe/unsubscribe: http://www.linuxmanagers.org/mailman/listinfo/linuxmanagers
