Imap Servers

Hello,

I am running a Red Hat 8.0 server, with sendmail, pop,
and imap from the built in /etc/xinetd deamon.  Also,
running SquirrelMail.  I am having problems with the
imap service after client mailboxs become over 20Mb. 
When the client tries to login via squirrelmail to
check there mail the service this hangs for that user.
 Can not kill there user session.

Have anyone seen this problem. Or know how to resolve
the problem.?
