i've migrated from a RH8 to RHEL (academic pricing) ES 3.0 and i've noticed some changes during the process. One of them is the inability to shield the Apache header values. My previous setting had the following entries in the httpd.conf file Header unset Server Header set Server "Apache" RequestHeader unset Server RequestHeader set Server "Apache" which would change the default redhat settings to just "Apache". anyone who has ever tried to check their uptime @ netcraft.com or used the free-tool @ port80software.com finds this useful. however, ever since i moved onto RHEL 3.0 i'm unable to accomplish such. any comments, ideas???? -erald _______________________________________________ LinuxManagers mailing list - http://www.linuxmanagers.org submissions: LinuxManagers-35TzE1X9F6582KRnZfj+bdi2O/[email protected] subscribe/unsubscribe: http://www.linuxmanagers.org/mailman/listinfo/linuxmanagers
