hi managers!

i have a rhel 3.0 (192.168.1.3/255.255.255.0) that exports its
/var/spool/mail to another subnet host running
RH 9.0 (192.168.0.1/255.255.255.0)

server is running nfs-utils-1.0.6-7.EL, whereas the workstation is running
mount-2.11y-9. the entry on the /etc/exports file is

/var/spool/mail 192.168.0.1(rw,async,no_root_squash,no_subtree_check,secure)

the entry on the workstation fstab is

moon:/var/spool/mail /var/spool/mail nfs
rw,rsize=32768,wsize=32768,bg,hard,intr,udp,timeo=10,nfsvers=3,retry=3 0 0

all works fine in terms of sending/receiving mail.

i should tell you that i also mount the /home filesystems (from the
same server to the same workstation) that is usr/grp quota enabled.

now, whenever users try to check their quota via either 'quota -v' or
'quota' i get the following message on the server

"May 2 10:27:40 moon rpc.rquotad: Can't find filesystem mountpoint for
directory /var/spool/mail
moon rpc.rquotad: No correct mountpoint specified."

has anyone experienced these kind of messages and been able to find out
the origin of them?

thanks in advance
