Sendmail

I have server which used to be the primary mail server for the company
running sendmail.  We have upgraded to a new mail server.  The problem
I have is that we have an many instances of an internal application
that are configured to use the old mail server to send alerts.  The
alerts sent to the old mail server are delivered to the users' old
mailbox on that server.  We are going to reconfigure the applications
as we go to use the new server, but for now would like to have the old
mail server forward these messages to the new server.  What is the
best way to accomplish this?
