I have an issue that is a bit hard to explain but it is annoying and I really do need to get to the bottom of it. I run a Sendmail server [8.12.8], which is on a Red Hat 9 box using Qpopper[4.0.5]. I also run Squirrelmail [1.2.11] for web mail access. We have about a dozen mail domains and all seem to be fine for the most part. I just recently took on a new client and in their domain, there is about 140 email users. All are fine with the exception of about a half a dozen users. They do not seem to be able to receive their mail. Their emails seem to be just disappearing as there is no errors or bounce messages but the messages never arrive. I am wondering if there is an issue between imap and pop and more to the point, between Qpopper and Squirrelmail. If so, I am wondering if it would be better to use the pop3 server that comes with imap and forget Qpopper and then I am wondering what will happen to the current user mail and mailboxes. With the imap pop3 server simply start using the old mailboxes? This is a bit of an urgent matter so any help is definitely appreciated.
