Hi all, tnx for Wolf for his tips. Nothing happens on my DB - the error is already the same: pg_connect(): Unable to connect to PostgreSQL server: FATAL: IDENT authentication failed for user "xyz". I - created new DBs - edited ph_hba.conf agn and agn - granted the tables, views... - try to give passwords to the DB-users with with psql- and bash-commands. - edited my DB-dump - use the -i command - looked to /var/log/messages for other errors as described on the top - searching for other logs - drink some good beer and eat some delicious meals - ... I have no idea and my DBs are already dead. So my tipp for all: Never touch a running system! I can try to restore the old DBs with the old packages and hope that all works correctly agn. If not -> ??
