Re: Advice needed on rt5645 config, debugging

When reading my own message, I just recognized aplay's error message 
"invalid value for card". Got it playing with:

aplay -Ddmix:CARD=chtrt5645,DEV=1 someAudio.wav

So most questions solved. I'm sorry for the noise.
