Description of Problem:
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): synaptic 0.31,
althrough "rpm" is the problem.
How Reproducible: Easily, I have not yet resized the partion or installed any
new packages before I encounter this bug.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Choose "upgrade all" or "Dist upgrade"
2.After the compontes are downloaded the program trys "rpm -u"
3.
Actual Results:
Sub-process /bin/rpm returned an error code (162)
Dosn't upgrade any of the packages
Expected Results:
to upgrade the packages
Additional Information:
I am using an HP Pavilion 533c, Pentium 4 2.4G, 512 MB RAM, 64MB DDR SDRAM
Integrated Intel Extreme Graphics card-shared video memory, CDRW & DVD-ROM, a
WINmodem and (I believe an intergrated network card of which I used over a cable
connection)
