Same here. Correctly burnt disc (MD5 checked). No i180 graphics chip. No
/dev/hda4. /dev/hda1 is my only extended partition.

Three times (for different blocks):

hda4: bad access: block=2, count=2
end_request: I/O error, cmd 0 dev 03:04 (hda), sector 2
EXT3-fs: unable to read superblock

Then:

FAT: unable to read boot sector
cramfs: wrong magic
isofs_read_super: bread failed, dev 03:04, ios_blknum=16, block=32
kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 03:04
