.. still see the same thing with alpha6.  It does appear the NIC script 
in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 is written but I cannot tell what, 
if anything, is still being done.  Is this just the case of a cursor not being 
reset to the standard?

I also note that if you get the mouse-focus OUT of the mission control window, 
it looks "more like the default".
