Description of Problem:
After getting the XFree86 DRI working on an ATI AIW 7500 Radeon, I found that
when I logged out my system hard locked with a black screen with no keyboard
response at all. This is the same problem that had been plaguing Mandrake after
they moved to XFree86 4.3.0 as well. Their Bugzilla entry for this is
http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1160

The most recent Mandrake Cooker build of XFree86 (XFree86-4.3-8mdk.src.rpm) has
fixes for this issue. I've stripped out the various patches from this srpm and
posted them on my site at http://www.csis.gvsu.edu/~greeneg/

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
XFree86-4.3.0-7ark.i586.rpm

How Reproducible:
can be reproduced every time you log out or reboot from within XFree86.
