Description of Problem: On my 2-way box, I don't ever get synaptic to open a
dialog box on the desktop when I press the 'Install Software' link in the
mission control box. I can switch VCs and see that synaptic *is* running but
nothing is appearing on the GUI desktop.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): alpha6
How Reproducible: 100%
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install and reboot
2. Open Mission Control
3. Press "Install Software" (NOT the quick-tasks, but below "Internet and
Network"
