[Bug 276] Kernel 2.6.0-1ark hangs during boot on my P4 3ghz HT system!

Welll, like I said your best solution would be to make sure you have the latest 
2.4 kernel and uinstall any 2.6 kernel you have right now. Then once you have 
done that, you might want to try the newest release of 2.6 which is 2.6.
1-rc1-ark which should be visible in synaptic. To my knowledege they have been 
moved to dockyard in a New status which means they are still experimental. You 
may wish to try this after removing the 2.6 kernel that you might have. This 
will probably atleast boot, although you may have problems with your mouse and 
sound. I do believe how ever that the 2.6.1-rc1-ark is supposed have a work 
around built into the installation.
