Description of Problem:
apt-get can't get files from pw protected ftp servers - the log on the server
shows apt-get did log in, but didn't try to retrieve the file.
This is not a problem with the server side - when I remove the authentication
requirement on the server and leave the whole directory structure the same,
everything works.
