Description of Problem:

I installed arklinux on an Advent Laptop with a DWL-650 wireless LAN card. It
correctly installed the orinoco driver but Mission Control did not list it as a
network adapter, though it let me enter settings.

I found if I manually configure my DWL-650 it works fine, as in:

iwconfig eth0 essid whatever
iwconfig eth0 key xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-etc.
ifconfig eth0 up
dhclient eth0
