https://bugzilla.arklinux.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=291 [email protected] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEEDINFO |RESOLVED Resolution| |FIXED ------- Additional Comments From [email protected] 2004-02-04 09:47 ------- This problem has been resolved. I did try the apt-get commands, however, I had tried the GUI manager Synaptic beforehand. When it indicated 450MBytes (3 hours) download, I tried to abort but I don't think it closed down properly - so apt-get was confused and didn't download any further updates. I am trying out different distros on my laptop and placed Fedora on it, found similar problems. I put ark-linux back, but this time immediately tried apt-get and left it running overnight. It timed out on the connection, so I tried again, this time it upgraded a whole set of components and now I can see my DWL-650 card listed as a network adapter, and it configured it correctly. I tried rebooting to make sure. So updating fixed the problem, thanks! ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee.
