https://bugzilla.arklinux.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=303 ------- Additional Comments From [email protected] 2004-02-23 15:41 ------- Luke, I appreciate your comments. Your comments on the noapic make sense. I guess my problem is with the Welcome to ArkLinux screen which tells you to type "nousb" to load the nousb image if your having problems with the installer. I didn't have a usb mouse or keyboard so I tried it. The second recommendation instructed me to type "noapic acpi=off" to load a noapic image with an acpi=off option. There doesn't appear to be a noapic image. Bad instructions? I have checked the md5sums against the images that I have downloaded and they are good. I have reburned the cd and it does the same thing. I'm not saying that the installer is completely broke. I am stating that the installer is unable to install arklinux on my paticular configuration and that is a problem. I was able to install Fedora 1.0 without any device issues. I believe that the hardware is in good working order, but it may not be compatible with the arklinux installer. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee.
