Description of Problem:
Internet and Network does not configure LAN preventing use of network,
internet, and email.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
1.0 (Alpha 6)
How Reproducible:
100%
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Log in as arklinux or to your own account
2. Open Mission Control
3. Select "Internet and Network"
4. Select Network Adapters? (top left red board icon)
5. Select LAN option.
6. Choose LAN adapter and to use DHCP
7. System goes off into the weeds and never configures network.
Actual Results:
System goes off into the weeds and never configures network.
Cannot use internet, etc.
Expected Results:
Will quickly obtain DHCP settings and configure NIC.
Additional Information:
During step "6" above, have tried manually entering host name, domain before
selecting DHCP and still have the same problem.
