Affects: Hardware Support
Component: mplayer
AssignedTo: [email protected]

/dev/dvd does not seem to be created properly at install time, causing mplayer
to not be able to autorun DVDs, and generally preventing dvd playback
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Ark Alpha 11.1 and previous
How Reproducible:
Somewhat inconsistent but seems to be a 'most of the time' deal. Install and
see if it creates it properly. May be hardware dependent

2. open konsole and ls -la /dev/dvd
3. it's either there or it isn't (Of course, the system needs to have a DVDROM
at a bare minimum
Actual Results:
File not found
Expected Results:
/dev/dvd -> /dev/cdrom
