https://bugzilla.arklinux.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=344 [email protected] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution| |LATER ------- Additional Comments From [email protected] 2004-05-28 21:05 ------- the drive has to be mounted as ide-scsi in order for k3b and other burners to use it. This causes it to use the scd0 device. This is best done in GRUB by adding the following to the 'kernel' line of the grub entry: hdc=ide-scsi As for the CDWriter icon showing on the desktop, this is configurable within KDE Control Center. Typically it is configured to show unmounted CDROMS but not unmounted CDWRITERs. KDE Control Center -> Desktop -> Behavior -> Device Icons tab. This will not be an issue in future versions of ark. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee.
