We are sorry that it did not work out for you at this time. Note that the root 
password is disabled in Ark and the only real way to enable it is to set a 
password for it by booting into init level 1 or s. Also, if the version of ark 
was older than the current alpha posted on the main site (www.arklinux.org), we 
cannot guarantee the success of your system running smoothly. Again, we regret 
that it didn't run for you.
