Description of Problem:IBM Thinkpad T22 with S3SavageIX8 with arklinux boots to the
corrupted display in both normal and vga=791 mode. In normal mode screen is partially
covered with coloured lines, in vga=791 mode the screen is black and some icons are visible.
Mouse cursor movements are invisible and it leaves traces on the screen.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
XFree86-4.2.99.4-0.20030130.1ark (same results with also XFree86-4.2.99.3-0.20030117.1ark)
How Reproducible: boot installed arklinux in either normal or vga=791 mode, either after
powerdown or warm reboot from console (switched using Ctrl+Alt+F2).

Workaround: from grub boot at first to OS/2 Warp4 (I have dual boot system, no idea if other
operating systems behave similariry), shutdown OS/2, press Ctrl+Alt+Del to reboot, from grub
choose Arklinux and everything is OK until next powerdown.
Knoppix (2002-12-07) boots OK to X (XFree86, vendor release number: 40201001, version
number: 11.0)
