Summary:                    not connecting to network on startup
Description: 
Configured eth0 using ArkControllCenter (DHCP). Works fine. On startup no
network reachable. Have to enter ArkControllCenter again, go to
TCP/IP-Konfiguration leave to get connected.

Not reproducable here, what does your
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 say?

Make sure that when you go into the config utility, that you check the
checkbox/radio button that says 'Activate interface on bootup'.  Also
verify that /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 contains the line:
ONBOOT='yes'
