It is with great pleasure that Bug-Track.com announces the launch of its =
software upgrade.  With a redesigned interface and new features,
Bug-Track.com really makes project management easier for you!

Bug-Track.com thanks its clients for the feedback received, which has hel=
ped make our new software version better and faster.  We hope you will fi=

our new version further meets your needs and requirements for project man=
agement and bug tracking software.

The new Bug-Track.com software includes:

- New interface:
A complete re-design of the interface makes it easier and more intuitive =
to use.  Furthermore, the page size (actual file size) has been reduced b=
y as
much as 300%, making the application much faster.

- Additional email options:
The user now has the ability to select to receive an email notification w=
henever a new bug is created within his/her assigned project, regardless =
of
whether that bug was created by him/her or assigned to him/her.
Also, it is now possible to have each project administrator receive email=
 notification of the creation of a new bug within its assigned project.
With automated email notification, the email address specified - as the =93=
From=94 field- is now customized to a specific Bug-Track.com account,
simplifying account management for holders of multiple Bug-Track.com acco=
unts.

- Further advanced queries and reporting:
The =93Comments=94 field can now optionally be displayed in your Manageme=
nt reports as well as within the bug and reports list views.   Furthermor=
e, the
number of bugs as well as the database performance indicators can now be =
viewed in all lists and HTML reports.
Additionally, users can now choose to make a query public, making it avai=
lable to all users.  For simplified management of your reports and for
quicker follow-up, the =93Assign To=94 field has been added to the perfor=
mance reports.

- Easier management of bugs and tasks:
The bug =93Closed Date=94 field is now saved automatically when a bug/tas=
k is closed.  You can also filter on that field and include it into your =
saved
queries.
It is also now possible to move a bug or task to another project.  All re=
lated information, including attachments and comments, will also be copie=
d
along with the bug/task.  Additionally, the Copy-Link Bug option allows y=
ou to copy all the information of the original bug including the attachme=
nts.

- Additional fields and viewing options:
The =93Bug Name=94 field has been extended to 255 characters.
The =93Bug Name=94 as well as other information is now also displayed on =
the Attachments/Links and History tabs.
A new =93Sticky Sort Column=94 option allows the user to select a specifi=
c ordering, which will be =93remembered=94 for each new bug list requests=
.  This
option is available on a per project basis.
The =93Last Updated=94 field, allows you to see when the bug was last upd=
ated and saved (Date & Time). You can also sort or filter on that field a=
nd
include it into the saved queries.

- Administrative roles and other options:
Two new roles have been added: Bug Status and Bug Comment, granting acces=
s to modify the Status or Comments fields to specific users.
The tool tip on the bug lists has been completely redesigned; it now disp=
lays the complete Bug Name as well as an excerpt of the bug description.
Also, within the administrative interface, once a change is made, the sys=
tem will now return the user to the appropriate page of the previous list=
 (.
i.e. project or
user list), simplifying return to menus.
