I was attempting to set up a new user account, and disable the auto login
(don't like auto logins...shudder...reminds me too much of W98).  I kille=
d
the auto login, but failed to set a password for the new user.  (The new
user script failed to set up my home directory, which I then manually
created.  Then, each time I created a new user, if I went back to edit th=
e
user, it blew away irrevocably the saved settings for home directory and
shell script).  When attempting to login, I couldn't figure out/use the
arklinux user, as I didn't know the password.  I attempted to use grub to
start in single user mode, but after about 5 seconds at the shell, it
would state "<two words I couldn't read because it went by too fast> :
disabled on user request", and then boot to the graphical login where I
have the problem of not knowing any passwords.=20
