Hello,

We will be releasing the latest version of Bug-Track.com tonight August 21st, 2006. 

We expect a down time of less than 30 minutes.

Below is a list of new features that were added to the Bug-Track.com application in version 3.1. 

-Visualisation Dashboard 

Bug-Track.com comes with two builtin visualisation dashboards, one for newly created bugs and one for closed bugs. 

Users can also create custom dashboards based on advanced queries. 

The dashboards provide powerful visualisation of bug information to help detect and understand trends. 

-Really Simple Syndication (RSS) Feeds 

Users can now use three RSS feeds to monitor bug activity within a project. 

By using an RSS viewer, you can be informed of bugs being created, modified or closed without having to log in the Bug-Track.com application. 

-Client management 

Account administrators can manage a list of clients which use the product for which bugs are tracked. 

For each bug, it's now possible to select a list of a clients which are affected by this bug. 

By associating clients with bugs, it's possible to create reports which display only the bugs affecting particular clients. 

-Editable saved queries 

It's now possible to make changes to a saved query. You can edit the queries used for searches and the dashboard. 

-Configuration tool 

The new configuration tool lets administrators configure the Bug-Track.com application using a graphical user interface. 

All configuration entries are validated which reduces deployment time by preventing configuration errors. 

-Microsoft SQL Server 2005 

Support for this database platform was added. 

-Obsolete lookup values 

It's now possible to make project and account level lookup values obsolete. 

When a lookup value is marked as being obsolete, it can't be selected when creating new bugs. 

Obsolete lookup values can still be used in searches, reports, etc. When a lookup value is obsolete, its background is greyed out to indicate its status. 

-User specified home page 

Users can now specify which Bug-Track.com page they would like to view when the log in the Bug-Track.com application. 

They can chose any of the bug lists or one of the builtin dashboards.
