Win partitions - installer stuff

The problem of mounting windows partitions hits many users - especially the 
target users of ark. They aren't mounted automatically, and if you mount them 
manually you will do it as root and not be able to access them as arklinux. 
Why doesn't the installer add them to /etc/fstab and set uid and gid = 500? 
Maybe also put symlinks to them in /home/arklinux
