Ark RPMs

Hi everyone

I've been looking at different programs to package for Ark but since I'm 
fairly inexperienced at making RPMs of any software other then my own 
I'd like to learn a few things before I get in over my head. First off 
is there a way to specify a fake root folder when making software so 
before making the RPM I'll know what files will be created and where? 
Also how/where do I upload an RPM once I've made it?
