Ok as of late, Im having problems here on devel. Things like printer
administration, the service manager, su inside of an arklinux user console
all don't work properly. They prompt for a disabled password, thus making
the functions useless. This really needs to be addressed. It cripples alot
of the functions across the board in mission contol, kcontrol, and the
console, unless you start those applications from a super user console
which is rather redicilous. Im sure for bero it work perfectly fine, so let
count him out, I know there are a few other users who have this problem on
devel, so I must assume that some of you guys have it as well. I don't see
anything wrong with the pam files they all contain the arklinux user with
the proper suffecient authentication tags that I can see, so the problem
lies somewhere between the application for authentication and the files or
configuration.
