KNemo patches

I've got the modifications to KNemo working rather well and with as little 
modification to the source code as possible however three files needed 
changing and I have no idea how to go through the process of making patches.

I was hoping someone could explain the idea to me and tell me how its done, 
I've read the man pages for `patch` but that didn't reveal anything useful.
