Ok people as it seems there is a bad symlink in /etc/bootsplash/themes/current This is with the 2.4.25 kernel it stops the graphic boot up from working. Secondly and most inportantly, nvidia-enable needs to be update. I see that we have a new release of the nvidia driver. nvidia enable does not create the proper symlinks. I had to look in the new /usr/lib/nvidia folder and manually create ths symlinks to libGL and libGLcore. It appears whoever did the new nvidia drive place the libaries in the nvidia folder. once i linked to the new libaries in that folder and removed the old libaries in /usr/lib nvidia and gl applications come back to life. -- Using M2, Opera's revolutionary e-mail client: http://www.opera.com/m2/ Support ArkLinux, http://www.arklinux.com
