Dear Sirs, I have just found ArkLinux and from what I'm reading on line about it, it looks GREAT! I do have a few of quick questions: 1) My target machine is an ALR Quad 6 that has 4 Pent-Pro 200 Mhz cpus and 128 MB of ram alogn with multiple 9 GB SCSI hard drives. Does ArkLinux support SMP (even if I have to recompile the kernel later to get it working) 2)and does it support custom partitioning (ie to allow me to put /home on a hard drive by itself)? 3 As of today, what is the "current tested" version? The read me on the ftp site states that 12.1 is the latest tested version. However I see a 12.2 available for download. has that been tested? Any comments on weather or not it would be worth puttin ArkLinux on a machine this old are also welcome. I think it would make for a very interesting Linux box, far more interesting than putting say W2K on it :-) -George
