Hi,

I'm having the same problem. The full error messages are as follows:

mtrr: base(0xf4000000) is not aligned on a size(0x0000) boundery
Creating mouse: Auto
kmod failed to exec /sbin/modprobe -s-k char-major-4, errno = 2
kmod failed to exec /sbin/modprobe -s-k char-major-4, errno = 2

Warning: Unable to open /dev/hdc r ad-write (Read- nly file system). /dev/hdc
has been opened read-only.
Error: Unable to open /dev/hdc - unrecognised disk label.

A bug has been detected in gnu parted. Please email a bug report to
[email protected] containing the version (1.6.12) and following
message:Assertion (disk != NULL) at disk.c: 1037 in function
ped_disk_partition() failed.
                            installer exited.
Installer failed (exited on signal): 0

That was it. The computer froze and had to hit the reset button to reboot.
I am sending a full bug report to Ark Linux. If anybody has any ideas, please
please reply we desperately need help!
