We haven't made a new release for a while because we've been making many changes to the core system (kernel 2.4.x -> 2.6.x, gcc 3.3.x -> 3.4.3, linuxthreads -> NPTL, XFree86 -> X.Org, KDE 3.2 -> 3.3.1, ...) that required finishing and stabilizing before making a new release. You can still check out the current progress by upgrading an existing system to the dockyard-devel branch - or, if you don't want to try the new stuff yourself, by subscribing to the [email protected] mailing list, which receives mail every time something is changed.
