info over .info

Dear ArkLinuxers,
it's quite usual that when someone goes away from a place for quite
some time, the day he comes back he may be amazed by a lot of
changes.

I didn't follow the Ark Linux project too much during the last few
months because of personal reasons and other unintresting
(from your point of view) stuff.

Now that I'm looking back again into the project I found something
I really can't explain to myself.

What's the point on having www.arklinux.info being basically a
clone of the main arklinux.org site? why do "we" need 2 websites
for the same project?
Isn't it just a "cool" way of wasting time? Am I missing something
crucial here?

But the real surprise came to me when I accidentally saw the Web Server
used by arklinux.info: Server: Microsoft-IIS/6.0

This is something I can't explain at all... why do we provide Linux and
other free softwares we belives and we run a web server over non free
software? Considering that ark linux comes with apache, php, mysql,
postgres, perl and everything else is needed to run a web site I don't
see the reason for not using them.

Is arklinux.info to be considered officially part of the arklinux project?
If so, can someone of you explain me why it isn't running on a linux
server (just to go further, arklinux.org is not enough in your opinion?)?
