Hi,

I was going to update my fc6 fedora redhat nash patch to prevent seek errors during bootup on striped dmraids, but with kernel 2.6.19 and newer the patch is no longer needed. On those kernels a new error

'attempt to access beyond end of device' along with only 2 buffer i/o errors come up instead of the old 2.6.18 kernel behavior of generating a bunch of seek errors and turning off the dma on the drive, with some ide card drivers a kernel BUG appearing.
