Detecting DOS partitions on a dmraid volume.  At some point there was a
comment in the DOS format handler remarking that some day it'll be
ripped out and replaced with some sort of 'kpartx' tool.  Probably a
good idea, since afaik the kernel won't detect partitions on dm devices
automatically and we don't support other partition table schemes (Apple,
GPT, etc) anyway.
