have to retract the above: recent 6.3-rcX-rtY (preempt_rt) kernel 
patches are doing quite well here on both accounts, pipewire-jack and 
genuine jackd(bus)...

if things keep this way, hopefully the switch to pipewire-jack might 
just happen  permanently one of these coming months ;)
