LSP plugins have a standalone JACK version as well as the usual LV2, VST3, CLAP etc. I use the 8 band parametric as DRC, starts with JACK using startup command in Qjackctl. Can save presets and adjust in real time. If using Pipewire instead of JACK, it has an EQ module built in. I recall seeing a GUI utility on LM forum to adjust it. Found it - https://linuxmusicians.com/viewtopic.php?p=170204 And as mentioned above, parametric is usually a better choice for EQ than graphic. They have finer control to get the right EQ curve, and reportedly can have less phase issues.
