Hi Peter, I have had personal experience with that. For a start: it depends. It depends on what you need exactly? My goto has always been Csound, but then I know Csound. Python does offer a few good libraries. There might be other application specific tools as well, depending on your colleague's needs or specific task. Do you have more info on the use-case?
