Reverb is controversial - some producers like Rick Rubin famously avoided
it, notably with Slayer - but when I do use reverb it is of the spring
variety.

The ARP 2600 came with a twin reverb tank. The Roland Space tape echo and
spring tank is now cloned with the EchoFix series. Vermona has a fun spring
reverb with a crash button in its Retroverb.

I own all those. I use no other reverbs. I would build a tank reverb if it
was practical. I am now into natural reverb via mics in the right spaces.
